Storage Facility Case Study

This project explores the end-to-end design of a secure storage solution, moving from research insights to high-fidelity prototypes. We began by uncovering pain points through user interviews, personas, and journey maps that revealed frustrations with affordability, accessibility, and confusing contracts. From these insights, the UX team defined clear problem statements and actionable goals that guided every design decision.

The process progressed from paper sketches and low-fidelity wireframes to digital layouts and an interactive prototype. Usability testing with a broader audience surfaced opportunities to simplify booking flows, improve dashboard navigation, and refine layout choices. After several design iterations, participants reported a 40% faster task completion rate and described the interface as “much easier to navigate and book a unit.”

The final solution integrates real-time availability data, streamlined booking, and an intuitive dashboard. By combining research, iteration, and feedback, this project demonstrates how user-centered design can transform the storage experience into a secure, seamless, and efficient platform.
